It will be almost impossible to write a suitable story line incorporting the death of such a popular main character and relate it in a tasteful but non-traumatic way to the target audience. Glee's audience could barely take the attempted suicide of a supporting character. Surely, as we know it, Glee has ended. Only losing Rachel would have been worse for the show, but with the loss of Finn, Rachel's support and her story line have been eliminated.
